Envieve Designs is focused on reaching every woman who has a fashion need. We will work with you from start to finish to ensure your needs are being met. We can design for you on several different levels, and will customize the entire experience with your project and circumstances in mind. Your challenge is our challege! Maybe you have an aversion to certain fabrics, or you need a specific type of fabric. You might have an occasion that requires THE perferct dress. Or you could be working within a budget for this project. We will consult with you, free of charge, to discuss your specific needs. From there, our design team will guide you through the process, help you set realistic and appropriate guidelines for the project, answer any and all questions, and get you ready for your event! Based on the details of the project, and the client's needs, payment may be due at certain stages of the process. Or you may set up a payment plan througout the design process vs. paying as a whole at delivery.
Typically you can expect an intial consultation with Envieve - lasting from 30-40 minutes. Based on the consult, you will know what is expected of you, how the design process works, and you will also have a rough idea of what your project will cost. If you need an exact figure, ask your designer to provide you with a quote following the consultation.
The next step is the design presentation. Depending on your needs, the designer will provide you with illustrated visuals to aid in the communication of your design, ensure your ideas have been traslated right, and to gain your approval of the design. This step can be completed in 24 hours following your intial consultation, or it could take a few days to finalize the design between client and artist.
After you have approved the initial concept, it's time to get technical! Your consultant will schedule a fitting which takes 30-45 minutes. The timeframe will depend on your specific job, and the design teams schedule. The fitting is the most important step in the design process. Because Envieve believes so strongly in quality and fit, this step is the most valuable.
From here, you can relax... for a while. The team is hard at work, creating your design. The design will be first constructed from muslin, and a second fitting will be scheduled. Your garment will be tested for fit and for your approval. If changes or adjustments are required, the designer will either perform those changes on-site, or schedule another test-fitting.
Once the test fit is approved, the designer can then source fabrics. Some clients choose to be a part of this process, although it is not required. Let your consultant know if you would like to participate in fabric sourcing. Otherwise, your designer will present you with fabric and color swatches for approval.
The last step, after the garment is complete is one final fitting. The designer must sign off on the fit before your project is complete - again, to Envieve, fit is everything!
